Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) raised their holdings in state-run refiners Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd. (HPCL) and Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd. (BPCL) during the quarter ended December 2014 as investors bet on the benefit of lower crude prices and the impact of deregulation of diesel prices.
