Kubu \island\ is a peninsula in the Makgadikgadi Pan in Botswana. The entire peninsula is a national monument. The indigenous people of the area consider it a sacred site.\n \nIt is accessible by four wheel drive vehicle and has basic camping facilities. The camping facilities are poor value for money
