Pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong have taken their protests to new parts of \n\nthe city as the territory marks China's National Day.\nTens of thousands of people have been blocking the city for days.\nThey are demanding that China withdraw plans to vet candidates for the next Hong \n\nKong leadership election in 2017.\nChina editor Carrie Gracie reports.
