VO Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong asks Borikhamxay to maximise local potential\nINTRO: Prime Minister Thongsing Thammavong yesterday told provincial and district authorities to make full use of local potential to boost agricultural production in Borikhamxay province's Khamkeuth district.\nSTORY: The Premiere gave the instruction as he concluded his tour to the central province to give guidance on socio-economic development and the implementation of the Party's newly-initiated 'Three Builds' directive on the devolution of power. He suggested the authorities identify potential crops to encourage local famers to cultivate for sale to improve their livelihoods. He asked the officials to pay attention on guiding local farmers to grow organic cash crops after learning there has been a high demand for the organically-grown vegetables in markets.\nThe Prime Minister recommended that crops and animals that are resistant to cold weather should do well in the region
