http://www.vancesova.com Watch palm trees in Fiji and the flag of Fiji near the Radisson Blue Hotel on Denarau Island. The palm trees you'll see in this video are both native and foreign to Fiji. The native ones are the coconut palms and the foreign ones are the kind that have the gray colored drunk turn into a green stem near the top of the tree. Those palm trees are said to originate in Cuba and perhaps Haiti. Of course by now they have spread to many parts of the world and you can see them in Hawaii too. \n\nThe coconut palms are still very prevalent in Fiji and they are producing fruit and other useful materials. The imported foreign palm trees mentioned above are just decorative trees as far as I know.\n\nThe Radisson Blue Hotel in Fiji on Denarau Island is an excellent place to stay in. There is a golf course just across the road and a racket club not far away where you can play tennis. The beach is by the hotel too
