1 pound cabbage 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup lemon juice 3/4 cup mayonnaise 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1 cup grated carrots 1/2 cup diced green pepper
Place shredded cabbage in a very large bowl. Sprinkle with sugar. Toss until mixed. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
Mix lemon juice and mayonnaise in a small bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add carrots and green pepper. Toss to mix well.
