What we know as satellite tv actually had its origins in the space race which began with the launching of the satellite Sputnik by the Russians in 1957. The first communication satellite was developed and launched by a consortium of business and government entities in 1963. It was known as Syncom II and achieved an orbit at 22,300 miles over the Atlantic. Dowsing is definitely an intuitive art and one of the oldest forms of divination in the world. Perhaps the oldest and most familiar image we have a dowser is what is called a field or map dowser. This person walks over a landscape using a Y shaped or forked stick (sometimes called a doodlebug) to locate subterranean sources of water, oil or even precious minerals. The stick vibrates, crosses or shakes when the substance is found. Some dowsers will use two sticks held in one hand, and when the sticks cross, it signifies that a subtle astral or geopathic force has located the natural resource. This kind of dowsing is also used to locate things such as buried treasure, lost persons, missing jewelry and stray golf balls!However, the kind of dowsing we are concerned with in this article would be for the purposes of divination. To do this you need to purchase or make what is called a "bobber" or a "pendulum". This is simply a pointed object made of metal, crystal or wood that is attached to the end of a string or a rope. Crystals make excellent pendulums. To diagnose disease, use a rose quartz crystal. For general divination, a silver, lapis, wood or hematite pendulum works well. A pendulum can be anything that appeals to you, that is personal, feels like it conducts energy and can be hung from a chain or string. For instance, I have a little silver acorn charm that works perfectly as a pendulum. Some people use keys or talismans or charms such as a crucifix or ankh. Pendulums can be bought commercially online and in New Age or Occult Stores.There are no strict rules around the practice of dowsing, however there are two methodologies behind the purpose of it.The first methodology involves using the pendulum to answer a yes or no question. Some practitioners use a chart or a map, usually a square of paper with a circle drawn on it with the words YES or NO written at the four quarter points of the circle.Sometimes, a direct answer can be written on the four points of the paper as well. For instance if the question is "Who does Bob love?" then you may have different options such as "Me", "His Wife", "His Child" or "Nobody" written on the four quarter points of the circle. The dowser holds the pendulum over the center of the circle concentrates and sees which answer the pendulum naturally sways towards.There is also another direct method of getting a yes or no answer. Hold the pendulum straight between thumb and forefinger. Ask the question. If it sways to the right, the answer is YES. If it sways to the left, the answer is NO. If it goes in a clockwise circle, the answer is YES: a counterclockwise circle ? NO.Healers, to scan a body for disease, also use pendulums. The spinning in a counterclockwise circle is said to be an astral message that something is wrong with that part of a body. Also if the pendulum is just very active it can indicate an energy disturbance in a chakra or an imbalance of some kind. Destruction! Blow Up! Eliminate! These are not pleasant words!Unfortunately, when it comes to safety we have no other choices. In the electrical industry, fuses are destroyed in order to protect lives or property.Whenever there is a big fault in the power lines, possibly caused by short-circuiting, fuses are very helpful to stop the flow of current.Unlike circuit breakers, fuses have no mechanical moving parts that can fail to operate. A fuse is just an electrical link in the circuit that can melt very quickly whenever a certain temperature is reached.Fuses have 4 things to do in a circuit:1. They must sense faults2. They must open quickly when a short-circuit occurs3. They must also sense the normal overloaded conditions, but must open if the overload becomes excessive or prolonged.4. They must not change or alter the characteristic of the current during normal operation.Early types of fuses use lead wires, selected based on their diameters, connected to terminals. These types have some disadvantages. Whenever a fuse blows, the molten metal spatters over the equipment and could cause injury to people or cause fires, especially when the arc was not confined.Later, cartridge fuses replaced the old lead wire fuses. These consist of non-conducting cylinders which contain soft metal fuse strips. The strips are connected to the ends of the cylinders by metal caps or ferrules. The entire cartridge fuse is mounted onto a matching fuse block.Even these cartridge fuses have 2 types - those with renewable fuse links and those one-time non-renewable types. The only advantage of the renewable type - they are more economical because the cartridge can be reused. However, more precautions are needed with regards to the cleanliness of the contacts, the securing of the cap bolts, and the choice of the current rating of the link.Whenever a fuse blows, it means there is already a big fault in the circuit. Electricians must be especially careful during this time and take the necessary precautions. The fuses blow up for safety. Constantly bombarded with negative information about the environment, finances and natural resources? Feeling overwhelmed? Each and every one of us can do something to help our world - starting right where we are, right now. Though not everyone can afford to donate cash or time to a cause, there are endless tactics that will decrease an individual's contribution to the landfill and their resource consumption.Mirrors, placed strategically in a room can be used to make use of natural lighting more efficiently, and reduce energy use as well. When placed near indoor plants, mirrors act like a second window creating better growing conditions while giving the illusion of increased space and greenery to the ambiance of a room.When loading the clothes dryer, fluff the wet and tangled laundry before tossing into the machine. This allows for immediate and more efficient use of dryer energy. Very hot settings (which can actually shrink clothing) can thus be avoided.Typically, the heated air from a clothes dryer is pumped outside and wasted. Consider purchasing a dryer vent converter - available at most hardware stores. These are little boxes that divert the heated air from the dryer into the house during the cold and dry winter months ? making better use of your energy dollar while saving a little on heating costs. Be warned that this air is moist, and this may not be appropriate in all situations. Homes with dry static air or wood heat would benefit from the moisture, but buildings that already have a moisture problem (evident by mould and mildew or sweating and frosted windows) will only have their issues compounded by doing this.Instead of buying disposable dryer sheets for static control, consider using a liquid fabric softener with a reused rag or sock. Pour a Tablespoon of the liquid on the rag, roll it up and squeeze (to soak up all the softener) and toss in the dryer. Wash the rag periodically by throwing it in with a normal load. Just imagine the number of dryer sheets, the packaging they came in, along with the costs, energy and resources to produce them that can be avoided by this one simple act.There are many other little things we can do around our home, to save money and reduce waste. Instead of purchasing a plastic drip tray for potted plants, reuse plastic lids from peanut butter or mayonnaise. Often, just the right size of lid can be found for each potted plant, and most of these are dishwasher safe. Foil food trays also serve this purpose.Plastic containers that fresh herbs are sold in make useful storage packages in the kitchen. Dried herbs and vegetables store well in these containers as long as the seal is airtight. We once bought some very nice fresh ginger in Vancouver's Chinatown and could not use it all in one recipe. Dave placed the peeled and sliced root in the herb containers covering it with red wine vinegar. Stored in the refrigerator it kept for months this way and made it easy to add fresh tasting ginger to any dish.These are just a few ideas to demonstrate how easy it is to make a difference while saving some money. Imagine how many other small things you can do around the home or office. Once the ideas have begun to flow, they will cause a ripple effect cascading into other aspects of your life. Here is a thought to get this topic started. A thought on a smart dust design. The smart dust will have to be able to stay airborne for long eriods of time. I was contemplating cleaning off a car which actually had hightech SmartDust on it? God made dirt on the first day right? Well, yes as the story goes he made the Heavens and the Earth and he made that out of dirt. So as man becomes God, he will need to make first things first. So perhaps the thought of making dust is actually a very noble step for mankind indeed.A piece of smart dust as the foundation. What would it look like? I was contemplating a small flying insect or a daisy shaped tiny unit 1-3mm by 1-2 mm, semi-perpetual in flight? Here is the basic idea as I explained it to the scientists working on this in D.C. and at berkeley. How about this design for a Daisey-Starfish-Ladybug-smart dust unit? It could be suspended in a particle laser beam and use for anything and stay afloat for days just like the bugs which cross the Pacific at 10,000 plus feet AGL during El Nino.Part II of the idea: My thoughts are a cup shaped bottom and top in case it tips over with the wings similar to that picture? If would stay aloft, be made out of that NASA Foam stuff, floating around. Material memory opposite way on every other pedal. When the sun heat up it climbs and slowly falls as the air gets cooler. 2 degrees per thousand feet as you go up in altitude. This way you make the material memory set for the ambient temperature during that time of year in the region?Part III of the idea: Okay here it is. Take that picture and make the devise out of the NASA Foam, with petals which stick out like a Daisy. Each pedal has a small thin wire in it which has material memory the opposite way. A small cup indentation on top and botton, it flies either way as the wind flips it around. Now the controllable sensor and eye or slingshot style nodes to transfer data would be in the center of gravity of this little flying spec of dust the size of a nat.The sun heats up the pedals to start moving around. Each of the tips of the pedals are magnetized to repel, so they move up and down forever? And a particle laser beam can keep them up when the sun does not come out? This will work or a variation on this idea could work?Other ideas have been thrown out as well a polymer bubble with a small micro-mechanical device inside.Another thought I had was a piece of NASA foam which had a micro-mechanical device in side. They would be manufactured in blockes and cut like a block of cheese in a cheese grader like the guilotine chopping block. The block or bar of foam would have implanted with a a special device each micro-mechanical device the right depth in it and then the foam is pushed thru a grid cutter device and chopped and then pushed and chopped and pushed and chopped. The Foam would be CO2 blown foam 95% with 3% micro-mechanical device and 2% polymer. When the day heat up it the little bubbles and trapped CO2 would heat up and expand and float away. The dust 1.5 mm by 1.5 mm cubes. Inside would be the communication devices which would transmit on light waves and be fully functionable and could carry lots of data.How will we know when we are out washing our cars or SUVs in the driveways that we are not cleaning off dust that is smarter than us? That we are cleaning off SmartDust? Why this will be a benefit for the betterment of mankind: Weather Control, Drought Mitigation, Fire Fighting and Fire Prediction, Military uses Particle Laser Bean uses, remote Communication, disease and virus warning, universal 3D history of the entire human race for possible later Virtual Reality or for re-inventing our world somewhere else.

A Feasible Idea for UAV Flight, Possible Research and Development Test; UAV Stealth and Radar Energy Capture for Power and Propulsion to drive your enemy crazy.Powering a UAV, while being able to reuse it, increasing it's payload takes a lot of trial and error and engineering and research, which of course costs lots of money. Recently we saw the NASA announced flying a mini-model using lasers to power it.http://www.msfc.nasa.gov/newsSearch under; ("Mylar Film" Laser Powered Aircraft). This was done by a team of researchers at NASA's Marshall Space Center. Now then, when we originally thought of such a concept it appears NASA was in fact already on their project. But our idea during the same time period had a few twists. Rather than using the Lasers to power it, we will use the enemies radar. This could be used for surveillance of perimeters of airports, we would in this case use the radar already in the area used by the control tower and approach control. This would men anyone hanging around an airport with a suspicious looking shoulder mounted tube would be seen by the air.Here is a thought.Use a composite fiber, with blown chemically coated foam. The main ingredient of the foam, which will make up its body and wings will be Helium and/or N2. Reason being that it will be hard to shoot down with a chemical laser or CO2 Laser, which finds it, shoots at it or is tracking it as a kill target. Also realize that if the inside of the foam contains a substance which can absorb the radar of the enemy into the composite and then use that energy for power of the craft, by way of chemical reaction or enhancement of the battery pack, then you can use the enemies radar to self propel your aircraft, UAV, MAV (micro-air vehicle).CO2 is the most efficient laser known for drilling lasers, and would also work well with RF to shoot down a UAV, but in this case trying to shoot it down only adds power to the UAV, therefore shoot away, because we can use that same energy all day.But there maybe a way to have the heat caused by the hitting of the target UAV to trigger a pressure heat switch, which would cause an immediate 90-degree turn as soon as the battery packs were at maximum charge. So in fact the batteries fully charged would speed up the propulsion device and use it up faster while taking on even more energy to while avoiding over load.If you had many of these units then of course you would over whelm the enemy's resources. After full charged those UAVs fired up on, each time would trigger another turn and the ones needing charge would look or appear like sitting ducks.Thus one UAV in a swarm could cause the laser system to go berserk. If you had UAVs in a swarm crisscrossing each other and flying erratically, then you cannot shoot down any of them and drives your enemy crazy to try, while they pay all your fuel costs to and from the mission or target. Or perhaps you can soak up the energy of the laser and use it for recharging batteries to fly another 10 hours. Once charged it would simply start the 90-degree turns and speed up and slow down in a randomly calibrated simulation of a pattern only known to you.This could also be done using material memory of heated parts of the craft so there would be no electronics on board to scramble or interfere with. As the control surface heats up it bends and cools and bends back at specified intervals and temperatures. This would give it the appearance of totally random flight characteristics and an unrecognizable pattern.

If the craft were be launched from a large Blimp, super blimp it could be dropped and once clearing the blimp point skyward and turn on the thrusters and ionizers to rid the craft of any friction, which would occur in the atmosphere. Very little energy would be needed and getting it to an asteroid, the moon or around the planet for re-entry would be extremely efficient. If the X-37 were unmanned it could also serve as a deterrent carrying an explosive payload and be used like a smart munitions all the way to the target ionizing the air along the way through re-entry, in fact there would actually be no re-entry, only an artificial extension of a space tube which it could fly through to it's target as a single mission detonation ICBM. It could be launched from a balloon near over the equator from a Blimp land base in the Hawaiian islands fly half way around the world and drop in un-invited on a declared enemy of peace and freedom, glide effortlessly to it's destination at a very high rate of speed, virtually undetected and accurate to a square foot. Something of that ability would certainly serve the political will of the free world very nicely, wouldn't it? The costs per unit would be quite small once designed and built in large numbers.The X-37 could also make a nice re-entry vehicle which could ionize the air on it's re-entry by using a high beam of energy and then slowly decreasing the energy for a fast to slow decent using the force of friction of increased molecules of the atmosphere to gradually slow the craft at a pre-designed rate. Less wear and tear on the craft would occur and stability and control could come from parts of the craft not fully in the slip-stream tube of the created extension of space from the ionizing atmosphere device which would be located forward the CG and facing towards the intended direction of flight. Flight control guidance airfoils could extend into an area out side the tube of created space to prevent the craft from spinning within the tube and yawing or losing control. Special landing areas could be also created for such a method of flight so that ionization against the relative wind within the crafts flight path could slow the aircraft to a near stop, thus allow it to hover in artificial space for landing. No need to flair or to worry about a rough landing. The air cushion of non-ionized air would slow it down and the space and waves generated by the ionization would put the craft into a simulated antigravity state for the time it took to land the craft. All this could be done in an automated fashion.Such a system would allow more payload, eliminate the need for landing gear systems, save space on the craft or commercialized larger versions for space tourism later on. Less weight means more payload, more systems. Such a craft could have on board tele-robotic units to fix the International Space Station or Hubble Telescope, to Mine Asteroids or drill below the surface of the moon for samples. Such a unit could be used to intercept incoming Asteroids on collision course with Earth carrying enough payload for gravity manipulation devices, laser cutters, explosives or attach itself and use it's self propulsion to move the small body off it's current trajectory.NASA was smart to allow DARPA to have this technology for needs to secure our nation and become part of the missile defense system, strategic surgical strikes against adversaries and defending Mother Earth from catastrophic demise of a large Asteroid direct hit which would certainly cause death and destruction and climatic change which would render the current global warming shift totally insignificant.If we look at the X-37 as a mini scale of 1/24 the size of a full version ship, you can see the benefits of having such a craft to carry people to the moon in the future for visits, scientific expeditions, visits to Mars, orbiting of Venus, Tourists to the Lunar Surface or sight seeing trip. By adding the benefits of ionization of the atmosphere we reduce the problems of heat friction which caused the last Space Shuttle break up, reduce surface wear and tear and have a truly safe and economical space craft.

This was particularly highlighted at a recent energy psychology conference in which a keynote presentation on the topic of Enlightenment seemed to focus almost entirely on achieving altered states of consciousness. By allowing high altitude Satellite Type Balloons or Blimps with Cell Phone type communications we could have a tremendous secondary back-up for communication. Also we could use this high altitude blimp to send out frequencies good for health, such as the Earth's frequency of 7.89 Hz to help the human and animal kingdom biological immune system. In addition to this we know that Stealth Aircraft when traveling thru cell phone communications field will show up as anomalies on a scope tuned to those frequencies used. We can use these anomalies to track enemy stealth aircraft within these anomalies in the field of communication. If you are a believer in UFOs, well you can track them too. So you can track UFOs, Stealth or track ICBM from above to insure proper quadrangulation to intercept with a kill projectile.Currently micro satellite formations, AWACS and Spy Satellites are able to do this, but the communication back to Earth since they are so high is delayed a half a second and that makes the data irrelevant for a fast moving object such as a missile on its way in. You know it is there but the data coming in is late and will cause you to miss the object if you intended to shoot it down. Obviously not a UFO, no one wants to piss off a more technological co-inhabitant of our planet. We are talking about a human made ICBM shot at you with the intent to inflict high casualties using WMD.This concept is available now and would indeed save billions in Cell Towers across the landscape. It is a win/win for the telecom industry, National Security and Health Care. Also of mention would be that the fewer satellites launched the better for the Ozone Layer as well as saving billions in additional launches, which have high failure rates. It takes a lot of energy to leave the atmosphere; we can conserve this energy by floating blimps up high and save the wear and tear from the solar radiation and solar flares.A nonlinear approach is necessary to protecting the flows of our civilization while enhancing and improving the efficiencies of our current communication, security and health care systems. Killing many birds with one stone makes sense if we are to balance the budget, protect our citizenry and continue with the forward progress of mankind. Think about it.

Let us discuss the mapping of Mars and some thoughts on the matter. We have mapped the Earth by using Satellites and have a complete GIS mapping with complete mineral deposits, underground oil areas, volcanic plumes and even huge natural water aquifers. We have also done this with the US Navy and mapped the entire terrain of the Ocean Floor. At first it was secret and eventually given to scientists and the World. Now then instead of sound, radio or other waves we can use Pulsed Lasers. But the pulsed lasers will be coming from us here on Earth because we are so close now. With the speed of light at about only 3 and a half minutes during our close fly bye of the two Planets (using pulsed lasers the disruption patterns can increase the past the speed of light), we can get a good indication of the terrain and perhaps within inches, there for the tubes, that rock with the face, the CO2 and H2O polar ice, what's underneath. Where the rock is, silica type fine sand is, how deep it is. We can also see if there is larger life than the micro-organisms we already are positive that exist.We can then build a 3D and 4D modeling for people to experience Mars as if they were walking or traveling on the surface itself. JPL needs this information and CalTech has been doing much hypothesizing and some of the things already found might shake the religious foundations of the human culture and societies throughout our little planet. The problem I can see with this is that we would obviously have some disruptions of certain frequency bands while this is taking place. When the laser pulse signals return they would do so in a huge pattern or swath that would or should be even bigger than the Earth its self, causing some disruptions. But the data loss in transmissions is surely worth the knowledge we will gain. With this approach we could find objects too? Like what? Well like the science fiction authors like Ben Bova, Arthur C Clark and others. I know this is way out stuff, but one theory of many is that mankind is of another merged species. Which is an interesting concept and cool topic at science conferences and martini parties.By knowing the types of rocks, terrain, amount of water, CO2, we can determine what type of life filled which niches and if that life has similar building blocks as we do here on Earth, which obviously it would. However with the C02 there would be life that may have shells or outer hard skin if living near oxygen or it could be jelly like small single cell and or complex life. The rocks could be alive, the dirt or sand could be alive. All sorts of possibilities, including those tubes could be made by life forms instead of fluid flows of compounds. We need to know. There are five un-manned satellites that had been dispatched to Mars now from many countries, the data being bought back has been enormously important and if there is not life on Mars now, we are almost certain there was.We are not alone for sure in the quest to find life on Mars and we may not be alone in the other regard but it is imperative for the American People to be the first to know and for us to come to the realization that in the future Religion will be come more cultural than absolute. This should not be seen as a bad thing for religion has allowed our species to live in somewhat harmony over the last 10,000 years in which we have been keeping track. Knowing all about Mars will mean we can be more suited to study the life there and perhaps in some way interact with it for the betterment of both. The United Nations counter part might be called the United Species of the Sun. We have been getting close to communicating between machine and mankind on a brain wave level and when we determine the type of complex life forms on Mars perhaps we maybe able to do what we have done here communicating with other species. Rather than making predictions or like some scientists who allow theories to over drive their headlights, I am interested in learning all there is to know from our rendezvous' with Mars. I guarantee what ever we find this time will be truly out of this world, hold on for some astonishing new facts.We are getting very close to some incredible break thrus in our quest to find life on other Planets. This could be the biggest discovery ever made in the history of science.
