Matthew 23:5-23:10Call no man Father A look at deception and Consequences. The institution of the Christian religion was and is still based on the words of Jesus and the Holy Spirit directing men to put forth laws and statutes that are pleasing to the Father. Many have taken this law of Our Father in Heaven and made it to none effect upon this earth to millions. Some times men will say, "Its all in the interpretation." But where in the Bible is it stated that, the Scripture is only open to private interpretation? This is a deception and misleading statement. In Matthew 23:5 we see Jesus rebuking the leadership of the Church for Vanity, lets read; Matthew 23:5-10 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. The stability of the House of Israel was not upon the minds of the religious leadership at this time. Leaders were trying, as is today, to enlarge their influence upon the congregations. Making laws and rules and changing the truth of the word of God into a lie. Not stopping for a moment to see the damage that they have done neither repenting of it. These men as some are today, cannot see clearly neither can they see any farther than their own ambition. Wanting to make a name for themselves in the annals of history, but what they fail to understand, history will neither remember them nor will any of the saints of God. Ask yourself a question, Why Did Jesus come to this earth? What was so important that He gave up, Glory for abuse, a mansion for a rock, Golden Garments for Rags, Honor for Dishonor? John 8:45-49 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. How many have been put down because they have told the truth? Mankind has gotten to the point that they would rather believe a lie instead of believing the truth. Mans truth is short lived and it is cancerous and moth eaten. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? Why wont they believe the truth, message after message from the Word of God and many still reject the truth. Man has stated;" We have developed a Road map to Peace in the Middle East." What have they done, have they delivered any from sin, have they saved a single soul, have they created anything from nothing, have they caused man to be at peace with each other, NO. This was a harsh statement wasn't it, but does this statement from Christ still hold true today? The answer is yes. Everything Jesus said and did was from the True Father in Heaven and not a man made doctrine of human fatherhood. Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? {This was an example of Blaspheme of the Holy Ghost} Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me. {Mat 23:12-13 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.} [ABA'SED, pp. Reduced to a low state, humbled, degraded.] Jesus in this verse declares the state of the Priest and others that dared to exalt themselves above the level of servant to the people. Jesus stated that, he came to serve and not to be served. These last few verses are the most ignored verses in Scripture, Lets read;"But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ." Commandments from Jesus. Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. If this were not important to the association of man to God, Jesus would not have stated these commandments. Our relationship with The Father is based upon our acceptance of Him as, Father, Counselor, Teacher, King, Master, and Almighty God. But when we put man at the same level as God then there is a breakdown in our relationship with God. "Howbeit in vain" " But in vain' they do worship me! Is your worship of God in vain, does he hear your prayers and petitions or does He turn His back to a adulterous and gainsaying person? Are you calling a man Holy Father, who can neither answer prayers nor forgive sin? {But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.} these men were destined for Hell, are you? CLEOPATRA'S NEEDLE: -MacDari was a Mason but his Masonry deplored the British 'alehouse and tavern denizens'. There are many heads or names in the 'octopus' of Freemasonry and we have only touched upon a few of them including the Bilderbergs. Barrett gives us the beginning of a glimpse into the influence of Masons on the founding of America, albeit a misleading one that he could be excused for not knowing in any one specific instance (such as Paine's Druidic involvement) but when taken together seems to be a 'damage control' exercise of the 'stonewalling' nature.To return to both influences 'on' Freemasonry, and the influence 'of' Freemasonry, Martin Short {Author of a weak but influential early book in the effort to expose what is going on, called 'The Brotherhood'} spends pages showing how much Freemasons had infiltrated nineteenth-century society; it was Masons, for example, who 'succeeded in erecting Cleopatra's Needle' on Victoria Embankment in London in 1878; when its twin was raised in New York in 1880, the celebration was 'a brazenly Masonic affair'; while the Washington monument was dedicated in another dose of fraternal self-congratulation. (3) It may well be that Freemasons had a particular interest in Egyptology at the time, and were involved in the erection of the monuments; but this was more likely because, first, they simply reflected one of the intellectual fascinations of their age and, second, at that time many men of importance were Freemasons - again, a societal reflection. Like many similar critics, however, Short is confusing cause and effect.The words spoken in 1992 {As he quotes promotional literature and videos put out by Masons he is avoiding details and truth. He is also showing his own 'roots' are not far removed from what he admitted, which we quoted earlier about the British Secret Service and the Masonic 'club' nature of it and the whole establishment there.} by Edgar Darling, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, apply even more strongly to the Masons of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries: 'Masons are movers and shakers, dreamers and builders, and above all we are free-thinkers.'? (4)Other 'free-thinking' religious philosophies strong in the eighteenth century included Unitarianism - related to Arianism - and Universalism, which also doubted the Trinitarian definition of God, and which believed, like the Brethren of the Free Spirit {A 13th century largely female based group called the Beguines and the Cathars are of the 'no hell', 'no sin' or all are saved, and limited priestly interpreters akin, to the 'Shakers' of more recent time.}, that all men will be saved.Whatever beliefs individual Freemasons today might hold, there is no doubting that from the start Deists and other free-thinkers had a major influence on Freemasonry in Britain, in France, and in North America; among the great luminaries of American history, Thomas Paine, Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson were all Deists, although of these three, only Franklin is known to have been a Freemason. (5)The need to deal with personalities who are part of the 'Heroes, and Villains' segment of the encyclopedia is now upon us to some degree. Thomas Paine and Benjamin Franklin were members of the Council of Three which is the highest Masonic 'octopus' degree in any one country although there may well be supranational organizations of higher import. This Council of Three is Rosicrucian and that IS Masonic. True there are some Rosicrucian rogue elements and the like, but in this case make no mistake Barrett knows more than he is saying. Is an error of omission as serious as an error of commission in this instance? Is it a LIE?! You need more proof, you say. If you do then it is coming over the next few pages. If you don't, you can skip these pages that deal with the start of an experiment we are now all governed by - 'The Enlightenment Experiment' known as America.My experiences include many friends, employees and contacts in the 'octopus' who make me able to say with absolute certainty that this is true and I'm certain Barrett knows the connection from this book and many entries therein. A web piece of literature from a decidedly right wing Christian group gives us the following and it is confirmable in many other places (in the main).Thomas Paine Thomas Paine, a theist, published his pamphlet 'Common Sense' in January of 1776, which turned the tide of public opinion in favor of declaring independence. Paine's arguments against all forms of monarchy dissolved any lingering attachment to Great Britain. On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence {One of my paternal ancestors, Rufus King, was a Freemason who signed the Constitution as noted in the Masons own web site that uses an 'Anti-Masonry' title which can be viewed at http://www.ncmason.org/book1/ANTI-M~1.HTM .} declaring the colonies free and independent states. Although Paine quoted Scripture to denounce the concept of monarchy, his later work, Age of Reason, is a treatise on the implausibility of the Bible and the irrationality of Christianity. Paine believed in one God, but rejected all religions, saying:'My own mind is my own church.' He also maintained an interest in Freemasonry {MacDari says was originally 'Phre=Sun'-Masonry and shows the linguistic similarity between 'Ph' and 'F' that we have covered regards the Phoenicians and Finn, the Irish king(s)}. His pamphlet, Origin of Free-Masonry, proposed that Masonry's embodiment of the sun worship of ancient Druidism was a legitimate alternative to Christianity. He notes that Freemasonry's god, '...Osiris and Isis, theologically represented the Supreme Being and universal Nature?' (6)One doesn't have to know about the Rosicrucian Council of Three to see Paine is part of the 'octopus' in his own written words. It gets more difficult with Jefferson and Adams, though it is well enough known that the Adams family is Druidic. Once I was inclined to write a story about my ancestor Rufus King and Thomas Jefferson that I was going to call 'Tuckahoe Mud'. The other player of significance was to be Frederick Douglas who my research showed was born of a white father on the Randolph estate in Virginia where Thomas Jefferson had spent his youth from ages 2 til 5. Jefferson had retired late in life to this estate and was near Tuckahoe Creek when Douglas' mother bore him into this world. Jefferson died a year or two later. (I have since written this book and I discovered my ancestor was a double or triple agent who probably engaged in many of the rituals Franklin did ? including trepanning to get Thalami to eat.)It was Jefferson's ideas about 'miscegenation' that turned me off the project which was originally going to be called 'The Early Abolitionists'. My ancestor was the first to free his slaves in New York City and went on to England in the ambassadorship Franklin had held before him. The French and Napoleon gave Louisiana and the west to the young 'experiment'; and their pirates played a major role at New Orleans which is part of larger and other later entries in this segment. Rumors surrounded Jefferson about his religion and he had to keep a low profile because of his Bill on the separation of Church and state. Although Barrett credits Jefferson with the writing of the Declaration, Jefferson himself says he drew upon Paine's work mentioned in the above quote.The book by Fawn Brodie is an excellent beginning for the interested Jeffersonian to understand the complexities of the man and his motivations or psychological flaws. The Jefferson family just allowed their black cousins to the family reunion just a few years ago, and the issue of Sally Hemmings who was 13 when free in France with Thomas and his daughter (who Jefferson controlled in a near, if not actual incestual manner) is now accepted. I suspect the whole Merovingian or Dragon intrigue has been into miscegenation of the races since the dawn of history.There is another person by the name of Short who played an important part in the esoteric reality of Jefferson's life. He was a professor at William and Mary who introduced and encouraged these things in Jefferson's Newtonian alchemic appreciations. That is the highest accolade that the Rosicrucians know in the realm of esoterics. I know this because my work has been recognized by inner sanctum Rosicrucians as being alchemic. Labels or titles are not my quest anymore and I wouldn't deem to call myself an alchemist even though I may be a hermeticist. Truth is my quest, as it was for Jefferson. So when people want labels for Jefferson and they wonder why he was kin to Masons, that is the reason. Jesus spoke as much about Heaven as He did about Hell. What I would like to do is a little comparison of the Truth of the Bible over the Lies of The Jihad, as the Muslim Nations try to dominate the world with their false religion.Islam believes that the world will eventually convert to Islam if all factions that are non-Islamic are removed [AKA, Killed]. To the Muslims the greatest threat to their world domination is Judaism and Christianity. Which both of these will eventually join together under one saviour Jesus Christ.We will look at The militant interpretation of jihad, for it is the one that many are dieing for and of today. The militant interpretation of jihad, is to suggest a world-view in which hostile anti-Islamic forces [Judaism and Christianity.] are currently preventing Islam from realizing its full potential for peaceful global expansion--[Global Dominance]a world-view in which Islam will eventually be adopted by all mankind [Forced Upon] if these hostile forces [Jews & Christians] are confronted socially and militarily.Offensive jihad is the waging of wars of aggression and conquest against non-Muslims in order to bring them and their territories [Conquer] under Islamic rule. This view is of forced servitude as with Hitler and Stallen. Having a view of God that is interpreted by a handful of men who will control all aspects of religion. The Saducies and Pharisees, lost power because of this same Ideology that the Muslims of Today are using.

Deliverance is to be rescued or salvation. Thanks be to Jesus that he showed us the way to save our souls from sin. We must come to the realization that God is real, powerful, and will deliver us from the woes of this world. Let' look at Psalms 72:12 it says For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. He will rescue them from oppression and violence for precious is their blood in his sight. It said in Psalms 79:8 Do not hold against us the sins of the fathers; may your mercy come quickly to meet us, for we are in desperate need. Help us, O God our Savior, for the glory of your name; deliver us and forgive our sins for you name's sake.Now look at Psalms 3:3 it says But you are a shield around me, O Lord; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head. To the Lord I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill. I lay down and sleep; I wake again, because the Lord sustains me. I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side. Arise, O Lord! Deliver me, O my god! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked. From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people. In Psalms 18:2 it says The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.Look at Psalms 33:6 it says By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; he puts the deep into storehouses. Let all the people of the world revere him. For he spoke, and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. The Lord foils the plans of the nations, he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purpose of his heart through all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people he chose for his inheritance. From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind; from his dwelling place he watches all who live on earth-he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do. No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.Now look at Psalms 34:4 it says I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears. Those who look to him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This poor man called, and the Lord heard him;; he saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken.Now in the book of Psalms 40:13 it says Be pleased, O Lord, to save me; O Lord, come quickly to help me. May all who seek to take my live be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace. May those who say to me, Aha! Aha! Be appalled at their own shame. But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. May those who love your salvation always say, The Lord be exalted! Yet I am poor and needy; may the Lord think of me. Your are my help and my deliverer; O my God, do not delay.Look at Psalm 144:7 it says Reach down your hand from on high; deliver me and rescue me from the mighty waters, from the hands of foreigners whose mouths are full of lies, whose right hands are deceitful. Now look at Psalms 37:4 it says Delight yourselves in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret-it leads only to evil. At verse 12 it says The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming. Now at verse 16 it says Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.In the book of 2Corinthians (I suggest reading the whole chapter.)1:9 it says Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened the we might not relay on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many. Now look at verse 18 it says But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not "Yes" and "No". For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by me and Silas and Timothy, was not "Yes" and "No", but in him it has always been "Yes" For no matter how may promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God.To conclude look at Matthew 10:22 it says All men will hate you because of me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. I have to say this is why I pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Matthew 24:34-24:35 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.Matthew 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.Matthew 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.Matthew 24:51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.Many times people ask, how do we survive these times we live in, but the survival is not really in the times but in eternity of times. What do I mean? Surviving eternity.Jesus said, John 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?Today we have terrorist, floods, fires, earthquakes and even volcanoes. The worst thing people do today is watching too much news. Fear has gotten a hold on many, sleepless nights and troubled days, even today, I hear of many hundreds of people waiting in line for hours just to get a flew shot. Now it's not just the unsaved that are troubled but also the Christian. Putting their mind and faith in the world and its troubles. To survive eternity is to believe in Jesus and Gods Word. We all are going to die aren't we? Many talk of having Heaven on earth and being rulers on this earth and don't even know enough about the scriptures to teach it. Sects, cults all are taking their toll on this worlds population. Deceiving many due to the state of this life and the rising influence of the anti-christ.The anti-christ is not just a man, whom we learn of in Revelations, but he is also a spirit. A spirit that has and will deceive with any means he can to get your immortal soul. Your soul is what we need to understand. The soul of man never dies, not like the spirit that with an animal, goes back to the dust of the earth. The spirit of man goes to judgment and then eternity. Does anyone really believe that they will live as they are forever? I'm afraid to say, yes. There are people today that believe that they will remain the same without change forever. I hope that there is none here today that believe this.Jesus said in John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world." he shall live forever."Now even as I talk to many who are not saved, they always tell me that they believe in Jesus. But they are hesitant to make a commitment to Him or to their own salvation. They understand that eternity is real and that hell is real, but there is something that is always getting in the way for them to ask for forgiveness. Surviving eternity is freedom of choice, Heaven or Hell is your choice. You can survive eternity in Peace and Joy or you can spend eternity in flames and burn forever. Believe it or not, there are religions today that preach , that there is no hell, no lake of fire, no judgment on the unrighteous. We speak of eternal duration preceding the present time.God has existed from eternity. We also speak of endless or everlasting duration in future, and dating from present time or the present state of things. Some men doubt the eternity of future punishment, though they have less difficulty in admitting the eternity of future rewards. This is a hypocritical stand in many who divert people's minds from judgment and doing the will of God. If there were no punishment in Gods word, then why would anyone accept Jesus as their Savior. There would be no reason for His sacrifice or our repentance.(ISBE) 1. Contrast with Time. Eternity is best conceived, not in the merely negative form of the non-temporal, or immeasurable time, but positively, as the mode of the timeless self-existence of the Absolute Ground of the universe. The flux of time grows first intelligible to us, only when we take in the thought of God as eternal - exalted above time. Timeless existence - being or entity without change - is what we here mean by eternity, and not mere everlastingness or permanence through time. God, in His internal being, is raised above time; in His eternal absoluteness, He is throned above temporal development, and knows, as the Scriptures say, no changeableness. The conception of eternity, as without beginning or ending, leaves us with but a negation badly in need of filling out with reality. Eternity is not a mere negative idea; to make of eternity merely a blank and irrelevant negation of temporality would not satisfy any proper theory of being; it functions as the positive relation to time of that eternal God, who is King of all the eons.Revelations 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up forever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.Revelations 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign forever and ever.John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever.Unclassified scriptures relating to Psa_30:12; Psa_41:13; Psa_72:17; Psa_90:2; Psa_110:4; Psa_119:142; Mat_6:13; Mat_18:8; 2Co_9:9; Jud_1:6.As the days grow shorter, there are many divisions in the church worldwide. Many are breaking apart from their own denominations, because of a difference in doctrine. Many churches are making up self-doctrine to please their congregations. Where will they spend eternity? Will they be able to survive and what about the people that they deceive. Have they been taught how to survive eternity or are they just as misguided as the rest? Romans 7:8-7:25. The Christian today has become a people without a vision. The Lord has said that, with out a vision my people perish.We work and cannot obtain, we save and spend more, we fight and loose ground, we obtain and have less, we learn and understand little, we pray and little is accomplished.I wish to share with you a letter some friends of mine sent to me from India."Dear Reverend Smith. I can't forget the story I heard a few months ago from one of our missionaries serving the Lord in North India. With scars on his face and back, his body literally bore the marks of persecution. "They asked me to deny Christ," he told me. "They said they would kill me and cut my tongue out if I didn't deny Him." "Stop preaching the Gospel," they demanded, "or we will take away your bicycle and burn you alive."This sermon is offered as a lesson to all of us in Humility.Mat 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his saviour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.1Co 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. [Ref, Isa_29:14]1Co 8:2 And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.Contrary to popular belief, a Christian's duty is not to become involved in politics nor the rhetoric that comes with it, for as I have said before, The Powers that be are ordained by God. Politics has no business in the House of God. A Christian's duty is to,1. Love God.2. Seek out the Lost.3. Preach the Gospel, to be instant in season and out of Season.Lets look at, 1 Corinthians 1:19 for a moment.For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."I will destroy" Who will destroy? [God]What will He do? [Destroy,] What will He Destroy? [The wisdom of the wise]Why will He destroy? [Men's words and actions and wisdom are foolish]1Co 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?[Destroy,] In general, to put an end to; to annihilate a thing or the form in which it exists. To ruin; to bring to naught; to annihilate; as, to destroy a theory or scheme; to destroy a government; to destroy influence.Man has disputed with God from the beginning and will continue to do so until the end. Wisdom only comes from God. The lost or sinners are always looking at the Christian to see if we are who we say we are and anything that they find wrong is always at the top of their conversation. Paul warns us about this very fact in, 2Co 6:3 Giving no offense in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed.Article after article have come forth from many of the news papers, condemning the Christian faith because of politics, because of Christian remarks and even condemning the Scripture itself for giving the Christian his belief. The damage has been done but the question is now, "How do we repair the damage and return to the service that we were commissioned for, the preaching of the acceptable year of the Lord?"My answer, As Paul stated in 2Co 6:3, Giving no offense in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: by putting the blame where it belongs, with us. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is pure and without error. Assuring the lost that the Gospel had no part in the past mistakes of man. Letting them know what was said in, Mat 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his saviour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 1John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous."My little children" We are little Children of the Father and we tend to make mistakes. We will not sin willfully, for it is no longer in our nature to sin. For we are of the seed of our Father in Heaven. But we, as Paul stated, still flawed by the very fact that we are still in the flesh and the flesh is weak. I feel in my spirit that I must include the following verses. Rom 7:8-25 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead. For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.Many a Christian around the world, are being persecuted for their belief in Jesus Christ. We must renew ourselves in the Spirit and be ready to suffer with those who suffer, as we are, One in the Body with Christ. We as Christians are not an island unto ourselves but we are a guiding light to the world, we are in the world but not of the world. In the world to guide the world to Christ the Righteous. Remember what I stated at the beginning of this sermon? Lets look again. We work and cannot obtain, we save and spend more, we fight and loose ground, we obtain and have less, we learn and understand little, we pray and little is accomplished.1Co 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.Tit 3:1 put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work.2Ti 2:14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.1Ti 4:6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, where-unto thou hast attained.I pray that this sermon has helped all of us understand our mission for Christ. Jeremiah 14:14-14:14. What is Deceit? The intentional misleading or beguiling of another; in Scripture represented as a companion of many other forms of wickedness, as cursing (Psa 10:7), hatred (Pro 26:24), theft, covetousness, adultery, murder (Mar 7:22; Rom 1:29). The Revised Version (British and American) introduces the word in Pro 14:25; 2Th 2:10; but in such passages as Psa 55:11; Pro 20:17; Pro 26:26; 1Th 2:3, renders a variety of words, more accurately than the King James Version, by "oppression," "falsehood," "guile," "error."The face of deceit is not always an ugly one sometimes it comes in the form of a smile, a wave, an angel of beauty and glorious appearance. Sometimes it comes in the form of a sweet smelling rose or a friend. Sin doesn't always take on an appearance of ugliness, sometimes its beautiful. Some of the most beautiful things that we see in this life are sometimes the most deadly. The Face of Deception takes not only thankfulness away from among men [we forget, or fail, or wont acknowledge God for the substance of our life], but also lifted up with the glorious words of lewd persons [people with only their interest in mind], that were never good [the plans of these people are evil in nature], they think to escape the justice [Judgment] of God, that seeth all things and hateth evil. Oftentimes also fair speech of those that are put in trust to manage their friends' affairs hath caused many that are in authority to be par-takers of innocent blood, and hath en-wrapped them in remediless [no way to escape] calamities: Beguiling with the falsehood and deceit of their lewd [vulgar] disposition the innocence and goodness of princes.Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not [Many preach and teach in their own name, they were neither called nor ordained by God for service], neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination [Division comes with false, preachers, teachers and Prophets], and a thing of nought [Their words will come to nothing, neither can they save nor prolong the judgment], and the deceit of their heart[They have lied to themselves].Deceit sometimes says one thing and then does another, it twists the truth into a lie so conveniently that we have a hard time telling the truth from a lie. Have you ever been deceived by a pretty face or a friend that confesses that you are the center of their world, just to be put down in front of someone else? You've all seen the face of deceit, on television, a handsome face a pretty smile, great swelling words of utopia in this world and all the while these faces attempt to rob you of your finances and livelihood in the name of God. Or have you considered that a man can lie to himself? Why would a man lie to himself, you may ask, its simple many people deceive themselves to gain self importance, self pride, not wanting to admit that there are limitations to their very existence or to justify the evil that they have done to someone else.2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.These men that Our Lord speaks of are liars to themselves. They know the truth but still they become involved in the cares of the world and self-pride, bringing themselves to believe a lie and have pride in lying to others. These deceivers are not only deceiving themselves but they deceive those who are not strong in the faith or in the word of God. They've pulled a veil over their eyes and try to put a veil over the eyes of others. Hearing that they cannot understand and seeing that they cannot perceive, the blind leading the blind, both heading for a Devils Hell. The face of deceit loves company, just as Satan wants to drag as many with him to Hell as He can. Deceit knows no boundaries, love, hate, compassion or guilt. Sometimes the face of Deceit is the one in the mirror, that is the greatest deceiver of all.Jam 1:23-24 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.Ask yourself a question and be honest with yourself; Have you ever heard a sermon that touched your heart and then without taking the steps to change your life or give yourself to Christ, you let that moment slip away into history? Have you looked in the mirror later at home still under conviction and said to yourself, "That message was for someone else"? If you said yes, then you have deceived and lied to yourself, I'm afraid my friends, that decision may come back to haunt you.Psa 10:7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.A good description of Satan and the face of Deceit. So then what can we do about the Face of Deceit?Psa 101:7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.There is nothing wrong with stopping it at the door, you know whom you can trust, you know whom you can believe.My dad told me a long time ago; "Son, You can lock out a thief but its hard to lock out a liar."Come out from among the world and be ye a separated people. This, starts at home, start controlling what you, watch, read, hear and invite into your home, make it a place that Jesus would be pleased with. Take back possession of the blessings of God, go to that enemy camp and reclaim all that God desired you to have, take back your home and branch out from there. Those of you that are lost, take back that face in the mirror, when the Holy Spirit draws you, take back your inheritance that Satan tried to steel, give your life over to Jesus and take back the time you lost. Don't let that Face of Deceit steel from you ever again. What do you do after you've taken it all back; Dan 12:13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days. Start taking back your, friends, loved ones, family and enemies, show them the face of deceit, put a bright spotlight in its face and be a witness of the graciousness of God.Temple of Spirit & Truth Ministries A.R. Revelation 20:8-20:9 Jesus warned us of a time of great tribulation, as was never seen by man and never again will be seen. There are storm clouds gathering around us if we are willing to see.My grandfather fought in World War 1, My unc les in World War 2, and Korea, My brothers in Vietnam, and I, too late for Vietnam and too early for the rest, storm clouds all. But there has never been so much proof about the storm of all storms as now.I can see visions of lighting and thunder, never seen or heard by man. I see multitudes of troops, from many nations gathering together into one voice and one mind. This story is great, it started in the Garden of Eden, made its presents known at Golgotha, where the tears of Christ reached up into Heaven , and now today, black clouds and thunder can be seen and heard around the world.Nothing can stop its furry to come, the warning flags are out, the preparations need to be finished, for as the sun rises and sets, this storm will be destructive on a global scale.Lets go to Revelations 20:8-9, with reference to Revelations 18:2-23. {Satan} " And shall go out to deceive the Nations which are in the four quarters of the Earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle : the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breath of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about and the beloved city and fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them."This brings us into the question I and other ministers are asking, Is New York City, spiritual Babylon?The United Nations are growing every year, more and more nations are coming together into one voice and under one leadership. How much more convenient could it be for the anti-christ to gather all Nations to fight against Jerusalem, by using the United Nations as a pawn in His quest to destroy Christ at Armageddon. The Middle East is a power keg, ready to blow up, Hamas and Al-Quida are joining forces against Israel and the United States is in a war they cant win, I believe according to scripture, the anti-christ will make a way for all nations to come to peace with each other and deceive the world.Take a moment and look at the facts, look at the scripture. We as a church body cant continue with, "Business as usual " any more. The warnings are there, Christ return is closer as I write this down. This nation has forgotten God, we have ignored Jesus and His prophecys. We have become a nation of Idolizers.Look at the media our children watch, even the cartoons are now coming out with pornographic theams. Childrens movies have vulgariety in them, and its even beginning hard to watch commercials. Women showing their bodies openly, just to sell underwear, and who is watching this? Our children.Television is coming out with programming that, 5 years ago was baned from airing, and now its common, Sex in the City, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Friends , and thats just to mention a few. And where is the church, while all this is going on ? Where are the revivals we use to have, where are the prayer wariers and prayer meetings ? Church, we ALL must wake up and start looking at the world around us. I'm talking to myself, also, we all need to do more. Jesus said, " Work while it is still light, for there will come a time, when it is night and no man worketh." Jesus is crying out to all of the earth, " Will there be faith on earth, when I return ?" The storm is gathering, New York City being destroyed by suicide bombers, Gold, Silver, Diamonds, Cattle , Silk , the center of the world banking system, religion, politics, wood, ect, all coming in and out of Her sea ports. The signs are there, the thunder is growing, the lightning is on the horizon.Is all this just my opinion ? No, its our destiny as a nation, it will come to pass and soon."And they shall say peace and safety, then sudden destruction shall come upon them." My opinion ? No, My interpretation of scripture. If there is a time for revival, its now., If there's a time for prayer, its now , if there was ever a time for fasting, its now. Time is short and we must, if God permit, gather our loved ones and our enemies into the House of The Lord. Still not convinced ? Read the news, check out the number of nations in the U.N. and the number of nations that are still not in. Research New York, research Babylon, { Physical and Spiritual }" Babylon is fallen, is fallen ". In Hebrew when a item is mentioned twice in the same sentence, such as {is fallen, is fallen }, indicates that this will occur twice. Babylon of Iraq has fallen and was destroyed, this was the physical Babylon and now we awaite the spiritual, it will fall and it will burn, Jesus declared it. " Pray that ye be found worthy to escape the tribulation that will come upon the whole earth. " I pray that, this sermon will touch your hearts, for the christian, a shining beacon of hope for the return of our saviour, and for the lost, a warning to come to Christ before its too late. Jeremiah 51:6-51:18 Babylon is Fallen. Is the United States, Spiritual Babylon?Jer.51:6-18. I read an article the other day, concerning the vast wealth of America and the massive influence that she has over the rest of the world. Most banking systems are located in New York City, Gold, Silver, Diamonds and all manner of costly stones and commerce is located here. International travel is centered here and the major religions around the world look at her. Most commentators look at the Kingdom of the Chaldes as Babylon, which is probably correct, but we are looking at spiritual Babylon. Syria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Russia, China all combined together, constitute a spiritual and physical Babylon, because of the vast wealth and resources they poses. In my opinion these will in time constitute a great threat to Israel and her soventry and safety. Russia will try to exploit Israel as she prospers, and according to prophecy, Israel will bloom. China will, collaborate with Syria and the rest of the nations, under the leadership of the anti-christ, to destroy Israel, at the battle of Armageddon. The question here is, America, spiritual Babylon.In the past 60 years, America has become the center of commerce, and religion. She has been dubbed, the Golden one of all nations, for wealth power and knowledge. Knowledge has been increased, we can even clone animals, probably even people. All Nations are jealous of her and have become drunk on her way of life. You've herd other nations talk about the western influence, on c lothes, movies, music, food, and freedom, their talking about the things that America offers the world. The United States Supreme Court in 1865 , stated that this Nation was "CHRISTIAN" and owed everything to its creator. What has happened sense to change such a dramatic statement? Have we forgotten our Creator, have we forgotten all that He has done for us? Lets look at some scripture, then you can decide for yourself.Jer. 51:6-18, "BABYLON HATH BEEN A GOLDEN CUP IN THE lORDS HAND, that made all the earth drunken; the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations are mad. WE would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed; forsake her and let us go everyone into his own country, for His device is against Babylon to destroy it."This is a nation of power, a nation of influence, a nation of back-sliders, a nation that has turned against God, and is standing alone in the world as the only super power. All nations are turning against America and she now is alone to face the judgment of God.Babylon the great harlot, that has made the nations of the world drunken with her power and influence and abundance is becoming a nation of indifference, her power is failing, she cannot defend her own boarders, her wealth is dwindelling and her influence has fallen. False religions are created everywhere, marring and giving in marriage, man with man, woman with woman, and no end in sight.Is America the spiritual Babylon or is there another with the same power that she holds, the influence.The world has for some time now looked at Babylon the city of Iraq, for answers. Yes Sadam Husain was rebuilding it, but that was the physical Babylon and the scripture is speaking of Babylon the great whore. Is Rome Babylon? Unlikely, Tiberius of Rome in the days after Christ was crucified, stated that Rome was the center of all hypocrisy, lust, greed and whoredom. So where does that leave us, America. Jeremiah stated that God would have healed Babylon but she was not willing. Could I be wrong, maby, but here we have a chance to look into our selves to evaluate our faith and trust in God. A chance to look into the past to search out the future. I have noticed that sometimes, when confronted with the truth or a different interpretation, many scholars resist and deneigh the interpretation. But we must start look at the scripture a little closer to seek out the truth, while we still can.Why is this so important for the church to discuss ? The first thing I would like to do is give mans meaning of prejudiced.1. Opinion formed beforehand: a performed opinion, usually an unfavorable one, based on insufficient knowledge, irrational feelings, or inaccurate stereotypes.2. Holding of ill-informed opinions: the holding of performed opinions based on insufficient knowledge, irrational feelings, or inaccurate stereotypes.3. Irrational dislike of somebody: an unfounded hatred, fear, or mistrust of a person or group, especially one of a particular religion, ethnicity, nationality, sexual preference, or social status.When we speak of God, we speak of Pure Spirit and not flesh. The definitions of prejudice is only accountable to man and His disbelief in truth and righteousness. As we see in Jer 13:23, man is accustomed to doing evil and not good."Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? then may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil."Lets take a look at some words from the definition.1. Irrational dislike.Gods answer. Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.2. Ill-informed opinions.Gods answer. Mat 23:33-35. Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.3. Inaccurate stereotypes.Gods answer. Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding; Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.[Ref. Exo_31:3; 1Ki_3:9, 1Ki_3:12, 1Ki_4:29; 1Ch_22:12; Job_32:8; Isa_54:13; Dan_1:17; Dan_2:21, Dan_2:23; Luk_21:15; Joh_6:45; Eph_1:17, Eph_1:18; Jam_1:5, Jam_1:17 ]Pro 14:18 The simple inherit folly: but the prudent are crowned with knowledge.Pro 18:15 The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.Pro 21:11 When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.I have read many an article condemning Christians, especially preachers, for standing up for the word of God. Subjects as Homo-sexuality, Religion, Non- tolerance of Idol worship in their communities, and the such. They are always using the Bible as a source of self justification. They proclaim that God is all loving and, we should be like Him. But I'm afraid to say to these people, we are being as our Father in Heaven. We cannot justify, sin, unrighteousness nor ungodliness. We, as Christians, have been asked to accept teaching in our schools that are contrary to our belief in the Holy Scriptures. When many are calling for a separation of Church and State, then why are the forces of darkness allowed to teach anti-christian formats within our society. Changing children hearts from God to a form of self proclaimed religion. Corrupting society with false teaching. And all in the name of Unity.Lets read a little Scripture.Isa 1:4-5 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward. Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.Jer 9:2-5. Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men. And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD. Take ye heed every one of his neighbour, and trust ye not in any brother: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbour will walk with slanders. And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.Job 11:3 Should thy lies make men hold their peace? and when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?This is the Word of God."Making them an ensample." Gal 5:19-21. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.Rev 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.Ask yourself this question. After you have read the words of God, do you believe that we are to try to justify these types of people or warn them? Its not a matter of prejudice against these types of people, its a matter of loving them enough to warn them and to resist them. Warning them of the impending judgment. Resisting them in their efforts to teach their way of life to our children. So, Is God prejudiced? In other words, it takes large amounts of time, personal agony and money. The agonizing process I'm speaking of is the practice of reliving the issues over and over again until they are drained of their emotional charge. Again this works, but from personal experience, it's not fun, comfortable or exciting to say the least. And it takes an inordinate amount of time and money! I remember leaving my Scientology auditing sessions being totally exhausted! (As well as much lighter in my wallet with many more multiples of sessions to go.) My studies and experiences have taken me through about every change modality that exists, and I can say with confidence that they all work. The Rapture. Part 2.Revelation 3:10-22:19So far we see in looking back, the church could not have been raptured, because just these few things, required for the rapture have not taken place yet. We are thou, close, because the birth pains that Jesus spoke of, have already started.The pre trib. view, 1st. Thes. 4:16-17, 1st Cor. 15:50-56, shows that Jesus will rapture His church before the tribulation begins. Thus fulfilling the scriptures of Rev. 3:10 and others. Remember that we are not appointed to wrath. Why is this study so important for us? We according to the word are not going to be here during the 70th week of Daniel, but remember, maby some of our children, friends and love-ones, that are not saved may be. The have to know what will happen and what to do and not to do. To coin a phrase, its for those who are left behind.Most Bible students make the mistake when they study prophecy, they try to use 1 verse to build a doctrine. Its good to keep in mind that sometimes a difference of opinion is determined weather you take the prophecy's, literally or metaphorically. So for our purposes we will take all literally. Jesus said in Rev. 3:10, Since you have kept my command to endure patently, I will also keep you from the Hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world.Since here, Jesus, is speaking to the entire church, and the church is still here, the rapture hasn't taken place. Some try to use Matt.24:34 and other single passages to build a doctrine, where they ere is where the prophecy's, spoken of by Jesus had to be fulfilled first. The generation that sees these things come to pass, will be the generation, that will see the rapture. In Matt. 24:4 thru, Jesus speaks of many things that have to occur,1. The gospel must be preached thru out the world.2. Vers. 6 an 7 are two different references things that must take place.3. Look at verse 8, All these are the beginning of sorrows, so Since these are only the beginning, all else has to take place.Lets go to Paul in ,1st Thess. Paul mentions the rapture in every chapter. Lets remember that when Paul wrote these letters, that there was a time laps, between the time they were written and the time that they were delivered. In 1st Cor. Paul writes, Give no offense to the Jew or to the Greeks, which are the church of God. This passage could be used alone to prove that the rapture hasn't taken place.Remember, the Church that Jesus is coming back after will be comprised of both Jews and Gentiles, One Church, Joined together, in Revelations it is called, The General Assembly and Church of the First Born. This subject is very important, don't be deceived, people need to here that time is almost over and it will be time for them to give an account of themselves. The Harry Potter book has just been released in the bookstores this week. This book is the sixth book in a planned series of 7 books.I'm sure you have all heard that these books have been a huge success and there are millions of kids throughout the world hooked on these books as well as quite a few adults themselves. The publishing industry has never seen anything quite like this. What is the fascination with these books and now the movie? Why are so many children and some adults drawn to these books?There have always been movies and fiction books on witchcraft, wizardry and sorcery - but none of them have ever obtained the popularity that this series of books has. What is so different with this line of books? Why are they so much more popular than anything else that has ever been written?Many of the major Christian ministries are up in major arms about these books and now the movie. They say these books are a lure to lead children and adults into witchcraft and the other dark occult arts.However, we have always had these types of movies and books coming at us. Why all of a sudden are so many Christians coming out against these books where they have really not done this in the past with all of the fantasy movies Hollywood has come out with in the past.I've always felt in my spirit that there really was something different with these series of books - but I never bought or read any of them. I went ahead and rented the very first Harry Potter video and watched it in its complete entirety to see if these Christians were right in their criticism of this movie and these books or if they were just getting too carried away on what at first glance just seems to be harmless fantasy entertainment.After watching and reviewing this movie very carefully, it is my personal opinion that the Christians who are up in arms over these books and movie are right! This movie, and especially the series of books themselves, is a definite lure from the dark side to entice and trap people into not only witchcraft itself - but other occult arts, which are expressly forbidden by God the Father in the Bible.There is no question that Satan is the one orchestrating the way that these books have been written up and how they have been so cleverly marketed to a mass audience who have no idea what is really lurking behind all of it. Satan has very cleverly put a major spiritual secret in these books and movies that is in operation in the spiritual realm that will draw some of the more ignorant and naive into the real world of witchcraft.That spiritual secret is the law of seeking. The Bible tells us to seek - and then we will find. This spirtual principle not only works in God's realm - but it also works in the realm of Satan where he and his demons roam seeking next who they can devour.And Harry Potter is coincidentally given the official title of a seeker in the very first book. And what is a seeker going to find if he starts to research the subject of witchcraft and sorcery after reading these kinds of books and having the seeds of desire implanted in them as a result of reading these kind of books? Hundreds and hundreds of books on the subject of witchcraft - all with specific titles on how to actually become a witch, how to form out a coven, how to actually cast spells, etc.Go to any major Borders book store - and you will literally see several hundreds of books in their metaphysical section - all dealing specifically with the subject of witchcraft and how to get started and progress further into it. And once that person decides he is going to try out some of this occult activity - he has now officially crossed over into enemy terrority and he has now given the demonic realm full legal right to come into him and his life.And all of this can be started by just a few seeds of desire that can planted into someone by just imagining and fantasizing what it would be like if they could obtain the kind of supernatural power that Harry Potter has in all of these books. And with many of the readers of this line of books being our younger children - it doesn't take much to see what a deadly combination this could be for a very young, innocent and highly suggestible mind.All Christians, especially Christians who have younger children who are wanting to read and really get into these books, should be warned about the spiritual trap that is being laid with these books.Article written by Michael Bradley of Bible Knowledge Ministries.
