Is being purified only for the men of the cloth? Well let's see what the Bible says. In the book of 2Samuel David sang a song to the Lord. He says at verse 25 The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to my cleanness in his sight. What a wonderful phrase, and heartfelt passage, to be able to sing about the good things the Lord has bless you with. It is also good to ask for forgiveness, in the book of Psalm 51:10 it says Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.Now in Psalm 199:9 it says How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from you commands. I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. Praise be to you, O Lord; teach me your decrees. In the book of Isaiah 52:11 it says Depart, Depart, go out from there! Touch no unclean thing! Come out from it and be pure, you who carry the vessels of the Lord. But you will not leave in haste or go in flight; for the Lord will go before you, the God of Israel will be your rear guard.In the book of Matthew 5:8 it says Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. It says in the book of 1Timothy 5:22 it says Do not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure. Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses. The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgement ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not cannot be hidden.Now look in the book of Hebrews 13:4 it says Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you. So we say with confidence, The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?Now look at what John wrote in 1John 3:1 it says How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear Friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.In the book of Titus 2:11 it says For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say NO to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope-the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.Now in the book of 1John 1:8 it says If we claim to be without sins, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.In the book of 2Corinthians 6:3 it says We put no stumbling block in anyone's path, so that our ministry will now be discredited. Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness, in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.In conclusion look at the book of Philippians 4:8 it says Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me-put it into practice. I know you want to kill me, and I wish to do all I can to help you succeed. Well? that would be insane, but what about this?I know you want to kill my children, destroy my country, and erase all historical evidence of our existence, and I want to do everything I can to help you achieve your goals.Would that be the epitome of insanity? If the leaders of your country were doing these things would you cry out "Treason"? That is exactly what is happening in Israel today, and Israeli's are left stunned wondering what can be done to stop the insane leaders who have wrestled complete control over the government, military, and economy of Israel.Ok? so I am going too far you say? another conspiracy nut.American President George Bush says "I will bring peace to the Middle East". Wait a minute? isn't he supposed to be a Christian? Isn't Jesus the only one who will ultimately bring peace to the Middle East? Isn't the anti-Christ the one who will make a false peace agreement? Hmmm? think I am stretching a bit? It gets better.The prophet Zechariah warned (Christians should be familiar with this, even Christian presidents) that those who burden themselves with Jerusalem will be dashed to pieces. Now a "Christian" president who presumably knows these scriptures, and proclaims a faith in the Jewish Messiah, and yet knowingly leads his nation into the abyss of certain condemnation at the hand of the God he swears he serves desperately needs his head examined. He must be insane!Today in the British Parliament, the podium from which the Prime Minister speaks not only has a Bible resting upon it; it has a Koran resting on top of the Bible. Europe is fast becoming not only a post Christian group of nations, but a pro-Islamic group of nations as well. President Bush embraces Islam as a "peaceful" religion, and the State Department continues to appease and praise the Islamists openly. Did I miss something? Aren't we supposed to be engaged in a worldwide war against terrorism? Has anyone else noticed that nearly every conflict in the world today, and nearly every terrorist act is perpetrated by Islam? The most notable exception might be the Irish Republican Army, but they are sympathetic to the Palestinians and have often cooperated on strategic training and planning. So if we are waging a war on terror, and we are at the same time doing all we can to appease the terrorist, couldn't it be argued that we are suffering from mass dementia on a global scale?I contend that to fight against God, Creator of All things, Master of everything, is tantamount to insanity. The world today, and the "leaders" governing us are at war with God. It is that simple, the flesh of man vs. the Holy Spirit of God. This is insanity at its apex. The world is going to suffer tremendously for this embracement of the devil, and the torment of this insanity will burn forever.Thankfully, none of us have to be turned over to a reprobate mind, we can embrace God instead, love His truth, and surrender to His will. If you have detected in your life a hardening of the heart towards the things of God, I appeal to you to stoop where you are, and fall on your knees in repentance. Herodotus found the similarity between the rites of Osiris and Dionysius so great that he thought it impossible the latter could have risen independently? Plutarch, a very keen student of comparative religion, insists upon the detailed resemblance of the rites of Osiris to Dionysius.... resemblances of ritual are matters of observation.

Salmon Rushdie may have been the first to flee the wrath of angry Islamic hardliners but now whole nations are on the alert. It is an easy thing to hide one man but nations are another matter. World reaction is followed by world opinion and depending on how much dust has to settle, following close behind is worldwide action. That action has been everything from hunting down major terrorists and dangerous extremists to digging for the root causes for all this anti anything that isn't Muslim.Immediately after 9-11 President Bush sought to encourage Americans and warn the perpetrators of the attack in New York. We rallied around his comments with ears fully opened and hearts still burning with grief. Almost un-noticed in the melee of words and emotions he also said, that we knew the Muslim religion was a peaceful religion. Do we really know that? Up to that propitious moment in our history we knew pretty close to nothing about the Islamic faith. Since those remarks were made there has been a rush to correct our general lack of knowledge about Islam. So what do we know now?The first person to cast doubt on the peaceful religion remark was Franklin Graham the son of evangelist Rev Billy Graham. He simply pointed us to the Quran where it can be seen in black and white that the cost of not converting to Islam could be our lives. The first reaction to Graham's divulgement was a little shy of a good old tar and feathering. Since then we have poured over the newly offered enlightenments put forth by authors, preachers, news people and others. Graham has been vindicated, our president has been a good deal less vociferous on the peaceful religion idea, and we have had a non stop crash course on the entire subject via the shock network from, Indonesia, Spain and London.College freshman still argue that more wars have been fought and more lives have been lost to religion than for any other reason. Only a little more learning and they eventually stop sounding that obviously exaggerated claim. Most of the lives lost in war had to do with territory, politics, fascism and all the other reasons on a long list of which religion is but one. But how many converts are won as a result of religious wars and bigotry? Why can't the Muslims take a hint from this? How many people really wanted to be Catholics during the Papal inquisitions? How many got converted to Christianity because of the crusades? How about a modestly conservative, very few if any, for a fair answer?About as much time as it takes to get a college degree has passed since 9-11 and Americans have been immersed in both its details and its concomitant effects. We have all figuratively earned our degree in the effects of terrorism. We have had our education bolstered with remedial courses from the subways of Spain to the underground of London. If we have learned nothing else we can at least say with surety that Islam is not a peaceful religion. It assuages us little to be reminded so often that there are extremist Muslims and moderate Muslims, when we know their guide book puts forth a mandate to take the extreme.That information leaves us with only two lousy choices. One is to be ever watchful of the extreme Muslims and the other is to hope the moderate Muslims don't get to serious about the Quran's extremes.Perhaps a better question is what have Muslims learned? Has the slaughter of unsuspecting, un-armed and un-prepared people added any converts to Islam? Has it caused anyone to rush to join their ranks? The world consensus may be hard to accurately measure but it seems safe to say that not many are taking the bait.We still live in a world where people don't like being blown up for holding an opposing view or for not being inclined to become adherents to one religion or another. I think that is why we call it civilization. Most people like to come slowly to their conclusions about God. Most folks still prefer spiritual experiences rather than human coercion. Most people would prefer a gentle Jesus to a poisoning Jim Jones. Even the cults have sense enough to feign love to the unsuspecting to lure them into their folds. What nation or what culture has ever been found to eagerly accept a religion that thinks blowing people up is pleasing to God? Zechariah 14:1-14:12Bang, Bang,Your Dead.Preaching the Gospel is an exciting adventure into the past, present and future. Many believe that humanity will continue at its present rate and eventually come together in peace and love. I'm sorry to say that this is just another lie from the father of all lies, Satan. Man is destined to die, no matter what, age, race, color, weather they be rich or poor. Death will not be denighed. As a child, I believe that many of you played games with your friends, some played, Cops and Robbers, and others Cowboys and Indians. The game was always the same, when we came upon our opponent we said, Bang, Bang,Your Dead. Lets look at the reality of the truth.This part of verse comes from Zec 14:12; "Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth." This scripture is stating that the flesh of mankind, that refuse God, shall be obliterated as they stand, bang, bang, your dead for real. Gog & Magog, Armageddon, and the Last war with Satan, which follows the 1000 year reign of Christ, all have the same thing in common. Death and destruction of man-kinds way of life. We as ministers have just scratched the surface of the truth in scripture. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah? Remember how that God decided to destroy all because of the unrighteousness. How the people had forgotten about God and His laws and statutes. How they turned to false gods and idols, homo-sexuality and all manner of debochery? Gen 19:28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.Jud 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.Well my friends, look around you today? "Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet," No where to run ,no where to hide, no time to repent, no time to ask forgiveness nor say good by to this life. Consumed by fire as you stand upon your feet and at the next moment surrounded by everlasting fire, heat and smoke. Each day that we live brings us closer to death, for some the joy of death and others the shame of it. I am just an old country preacher, some call a Hell Fire and Brimstone Man. But as this world races closer to the end of times, we must warn them that are outside the will of God. Jude gives me the inspiration that I need to continue to preach. Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. As I have said before, I will say again, It doesn't matter what you believe, what matters is what Gods word says. Many are going after, Scientology, Budism, Musleumism and many other isms. Science is the bigest false god that runs rampant in this world today. Christians are being attacked by scientist that are trying to prove the existance of some other way of evolution. Man has corrupted himself with, false doctrine, unrighteous laws and attrocities hand over fist. Christianity has been and will be blamed for all of mans woes. Jude 1:22-23, And of some have compassion, making a difference: There is still a place for compassion. Compassion among those that are willing to hear with their ears and for those that are willing see with their eyes. And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; {The fire of Hell} hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. The garment, the false religion and attitude of man. Every man has religion, every man believes in something, Buda, Allah, False Prophets, Money, Power, Prestige, Government and even themselves. They all believe that what they are doing is right. But their path is leading to a death of all deaths. All of this is religion.Psa 110:6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. When God says enough, then death will be reliesed, as it was in Egypt, but Death will strike quickly and with a vengeance, according to the will of God. Isa 66:15- 16 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many. Man will not listen to God, man has refused to listen to His ambasitors, prophets and even His own Son. Isa 2:19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. This earth is going to rock and real, like a drunkard. [Extremely important references; Eze_38:18-22, Eze_39:17-20] Rev 9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man. Rev 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. Can you emagin, people , jumping from cliffs, shooting themselves, drinking poison and not being able to die? A Day of sadness and day of torment a Day of Vengeance.Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem;{Who are these nations that have fought against Jerusalem? All Nations.} Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. As a Nuclear blast only worse. Eze 39:13 Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD.Eze 39:14 And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.Eze 39:15 And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog. Its time to stop playing around with space, its time to stop playing with scientology, its time to stop playing around with evolution, its time to stop condemning the Ten Commandments as being subversive to our Children. Zephaniah 1:14-1:18{Terror; Intense, overpowering fear.An emotion experienced in anticipation of some specific pain or danger (usually accompanied by a desire to flee or fight).A feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence or imminence of danger. A state or condition marked by this feeling: living in fear. A feeling of disquiet or apprehension: a fear of looking foolish. Extreme reverence or awe, as toward a supreme power. A reason for dread or apprehension} As the Iraq war turns into another Vietnam and Iran remains a nation of anti-Christian, anti-Israely people. I wonder why the Government still insists that the middle east will turn into a democratic stronghold. Democracy and the middle east will never take place. Even the election in Iran was an exercise in futility. No matter who is elected, the Clerics still run the country. Why cant people see that Gods prophecy's, will and are, taking place.Luke 21:20 tells us, "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh." Doesnt Luke 21:20 reviele the truth of the world as we see it today. There are many in the Middle East that are preaching peace between them and Israel, but this is because they are afraid of Israel. When the time is right they will strike. Africa is starving to death, The Dead Sea is drying up, Israel is under attack, Earth Quakes are increasing in number, Marriage is being destroyed and the values of many, that were strong just 20 years ago, are slowly slipping away in the name of compromise and unity. Man has polluted and almost used up all natural resources. Familys are afraid to walk down the streets at night, Mothers and Dads are afraid to send their children to school. This my frends is all terror. Terror is right down town, all around. The war on terror cannot be won. Many are deceived that this world will last forever. That things can be changed if we have one world, Religion, Government and Bank. One head of all religious matters. Its time to wake up and smell the smoke. Religion is "NOT" Salvation ! I must say that again,Religion is "NOT" Salvation. Wars and rumors of wars are an item in the news each and every day. 20 years ago we seldom heard of terrorist or wars in multiple countries.We never heard of combining religions into one unit. God was God and Jesus reigned supreme in our lives. Today we are seeing wars over, Oil, Land, Religion and Power. In just the last few weeks I have read of murder-suicides in our home town. Stalkers and terror on ever hand. Saying that a war on terror is win-able is misleading. Terrorist have been on this earth from the beginning and will be untill the end of time. Don't misunderstand, protecting people from murder is essential but the war on terror is a lost war before it started. We lock our doors because of fear and terror. Lets read an article that was mailed to me from Jerusalem; Foreign Minister Shalom commented on the Iranian elections, maintaining that the election of Ahmadinejad proves that Iran is not interested in reform, conciliation and progress; rather, it is interested in conservatism and extremism.The foreign minister said that it is more probable now than ever before that the Iranian government will arm the terrorist organizations with nuclear weapons and will thereby distribute the nuclear threat all over the world. The connection between terrorism and nuclear weapons is a global existential threat. The international community must form a unified and decisive policy towards Iran, which will assure that the enlightened western nations will not become hostages of an extremist Iran.Lets read a little scripture. 1Peter 3:12- 14: For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; 1Peter 3:12- 14 is mistaken by some who believe that God, in these verses ,is promising Christians a peaceful life. That couldn't be farther from the truth. The key phrase is this; "But and if ye suffer for righteousness'"Many Christians will be immune from violence and terror and then again many will be victims of it. We hear of the wars but very seldom does the news tell of the murders and terrors of Christians, that are taking place each and every day. We Don't hear of the Christian, women being raped, Christian children being kidnaped and brane washed, nor about Christian preachers being beaten savagely, because of their beliefe in Jesus Christ. This is a war on terror that is being ignored by man. This is a war on terror that is destroying this earth. This is a war on terror that is being lost. Zep 1:14-18 tells it the way it is; "The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land." The Day of Wrath is comming upon this earth and nothing is going to stop it. I wonder sometimes, what it will take for people to understand the God loves them, just the way they are. He is willing to protect them from that awful day but will not wait long. The days of the gentiles is just about over. 911 was another sign. Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and the terrorist that came with them are all signs that this earth is ready for a change. Gods word will cover the Globe but Christianity will not win the world to Christ. Thats not Biblical. Luke 11:10-11:13I was raised up in the rural parts of appalachia, some said that it would be noon before the sun would hit the ground. Raised by hard working parents, never tiring of working from dawn to dusk, to provide for their children. One year, my parents moved from the home, I was born in, to another house, so that I and my brothers and sister, would be closer to the school we attended. We had hard times there, not really fitting in with the rest of the students, were we poor? Not really, My dad would rise before the sun was up, go to work and my mother would always have breakfast on the table before we got out of bed.Our clothes were always clean and pressed. Being the youngest, I was the recipient of many a hand-me down from my brothers. I didn't mind, some of their clothes were pretty cool. Dad always bought us new clothes before we started school and demanded that we take good care of them. My oldest brother Richard, moved out west, another brother, Ronnie, died, Willie and Carl, went to war, and my sister got married, I felt so alone, in a house that was always filled with love and protection. I was learning what life was really all about. But, all in all, I remembered that what ever we needed as children, growing up, was always there, Love, Food, water, clothing and shelter.Life was Brown Beans and Cornbread. A simple life but one that was filled with Love, one for another.I was taught about Jesus, and how every need we had would be filled by Him, and how a new family would take a part in my life, the church. I was taught, "Ask and you shall receive" I thought that this was great, I thought that there would be no christian that would ever do without as long as we were all in the church family. Lets read a little of what I was taught. Luke 11:10-13; For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? To me this man Jesus was what I needed in life and because we were in His Fathers Family all our needs would be met. Later in life I strayed from the family, trying to do things my way, you know a young man with no worries, problems or fear. But one thing I always kept in the back of my mind is the words of Jesus. After a number of years, I thought like the prodigal son, "Am I better off without my Father or should I go back and appologise for everything that I have done? "Luke 15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!Luke 15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, ;this is how I felt without God. So I returned and He forgave. So I started to minister to any and all that would listen. And the more I started to look at the Church Family, I found out something very interesting. The family that I had left was nowhere to be found. Things had changed, some for the better but some for the worst. I found out that being fed with a stone was getting commonplace among church family, that I thought would be the first to help. I found it easier to receive a piece of bread from un-believers than from our families in Christ. I found that these words kept coming into my mind, every-time I asked for aid for poor churches and christians; If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?I found out, in my disappointment that asking for, bread, fish or even an egg, was harder than I realized. I found many a church more interested in building on instead of building up. I found that there was a mighty famine in that land, that many of the Family of God had wasted their substance with riotous living. Waisted part of their inhearentance with buildings and sidewalks and fountains that served no one, that feed no one, that supplied no one, in the Family of God. I found out that there were those that took advantage of the giving of some churches, I found out that this world had gotten a foot hold into many peoples lives. I found out that there were too many giving out serpents, scorpions and stones. I looked and found a mighty famine in the land for Bibles, thats correct, I said Bibles. When many were building on, many were suffering for the word of God. They were having a hard time in just obtaining a Bible, a preacher, a teacher, an evangelist, and all of this I found out was Bible Prophecy, coming to life in vivid full color. Amos, 8:12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.Why I asked myself, why are these brothers in the family so destitute for the basics of Christianity? And then one scripture came to mind from the Lord, Pro 21:6 The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death. What did this mean, what was I to say? As I watched the news and read the articles, I noticed that this man was saying, Donate $1,000,000 to me for if you don't, God said that He will take my Life. Donate to me, for we need a sidewalk to a fountain, well even put your name in wood, donate to me and I will build you a stone monument with your name on it, that will last forever. Donate to me and I will use the money to send ministers that are in trouble with the law to other countries to preach." Donate,Donate,Donate. But not one was saying, "Donate to me, so I can buy a bible for some brother without one, Donate to me so I can send out fliers and Bible tracts to those who don't know Jesus, donate to me so I can send out evangelist to preach the word of God.""Give Him a Stone, we need to build on, give him a serpent we need to spread out, give him a scorpion ,no one will know the difference." Many were and still are preaching, Matthew 25:13, Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. But then they fool people into donating for, sidewalks, fountains, buildings, libraries and monuments, just to have their name carved into history. These are the blind leading the blind, and there is coming a time that they both will fall into the ditch. These were just a few thoughts I wanted to share with you. Luke 15:32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. Can we all just stop and remember what Jesus had to say? Matthew 19:17-19:23A Poor Man, With Rich Mans Dreams Have you ever heard the phrase, a poor man with rich mans dreams? Many people in this life are completely exhausted by the race to wealth and prosperity. Looking for today and not for tomorrow. The poor man has only today, struggling to make ends meet, putting food on the table for his family and hoping that the next phone call he gets, isn't from his boss, telling him that he no longer has a job. I've seen many this past week, loose every thing that they've had, home, furniture, everything. The only thing these people have now is the cloth on their backs. There are approximately 195 verses in scripture concerning the poor . The Bible states that God, creates the Rich and the poor. But there is no difference between them when it comes to judgments. A poor man dreams of a better day, without debt, without worry, without strife. He dreams sweet dreams of a day when he can rest from his labor and dreams of family, babies and his wife. The rich man has troubled sleep, worried about finances, and national debt, about rising oil prices and interest rates. His days are filled with worry over thoughts of others trying to take what he has. In the story of Matthew 19:17-23 we are shown a good example of failure to abide by the great commandment in the law. Which to me is the greatest commandment of all.Mat 22:36-38 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.This is the first and great commandment. Now lets look at failure to abide by this commandment. Mat 19:17-23 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. Pro 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding Psa 127:2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. There is no need for a poor man, who puts his trust in God to worry. The poor man is confident in the Lord to provide him his daily needs. Psa 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.The poor man is free from worry, over someone robbing his home, for his possessions are few and his wealth is in his dreams and in his heart, where no man can take. 1Sa 2:8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them. The poor mans dreams are set on Gods promise, "The meek shall inherit the Earth." When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.Pro 3:19-27 The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. The cries of the poor man. Job 30:25 Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?Your stature in this life has no effect on God and His love for you. Psa 40:17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God. "yet the Lord thinketh upon me:" isn't this a true comfort to those who are poor, a dream of the Lord God almighty, sitting on a throne, creator of all, master of the universe, commander of the greatest army, and still in all of Gods thoughts, and in all of Gods majesty, He still has the time to think upon the poor man and his dreams. Wonderful isn't it? Have we become a people, like the rich young ruler, people that have great possessions and still have nothing but troubled sleep, are we a people that despise the poor, because they remind us of ourselves earlier in life, or do we despise the poor because they are not as we are? Have we forgotten that, our possessions belong to the Lord anyway, that those things that we posses are just loaned to us to help others, the Bible states that, We work to give to others. A poor man dreams of, Pearly Gates and streets of Gold, He dreams of rivers of living water and quires of Angels singing, He dreams of a tree of life and skies of blue, He dreams of eternal sunshine and walks on clouds of white. He dreams of an eternal city where He will never grow old, where his labor is thru, no sickness, no tears and no final farewells to those he loves. 1 Corinthians 9:19-9:23From The Heart A Look at Christianity from a Ministers Point of View. The following scriptures give us an insight on who we are and the awesome responsibility that we have as ministers of the word of God. Matthew 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28 states that Jesus came to minister to man, salvation thru His name and His upcoming sacrifice, are we more than our master that we are immune to sacrifice? We are to give our lives to the promotion of the Gospel and the Salvation of others thru the diligents and preaching of the Gospel. In the world of mankind there are very few that have been called to minister to many. Paul stated; 1Co 4:15 For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Begotten denotes the physical relation of either parent to a child.Then doesn't this statement by Paul tell us that we are in a close relationship with those that we minister to, as with a child or children? These people that we minister to are children that we have been given, to protect and nurture and give ourselves too, these are our responsibility and we will give an account as to the care that we gave them. It is not our words that we preach that saves, it is Gods word that we preach that saves. Paul goes on to say;1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling {Called by God, not man}, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh { mans Idea of Educated}, not many mighty {Strong in presents of appearances}, not many noble {of noble decent}, are called:1Co 10:33 Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved. So many key words in Paul's statements; "not seeking mine own profit." "but the profit of many."," that they may be saved." To profit; To benefit; to advantage; applied to one's self, to derive some pecuniary interest or some accession of good from any thing; as, to profit one's self by a commercial undertaking, or by reading or instruction. In this sense, the verb is generally used intransitively. Seeking His own profit is speaking of wisdom and knowledge in Gods word; He was stating that the wisdom was to be given to many to their profit to saving of their soul. We don't please all men, that's not what Paul was saying. Paul was stating that,He knew their way and could identify with them, as far as their infirmities, in religion, He knew of Idolatry and He knew of the Law, He knew the Rich and He knew the Poor, He knew of the strong and the weak, all of this he was speaking was of the spirit and not of the flesh. Paul used all resources He knew to reach all men that by some means He might win some. He could identify with their need for salvation thru Jesus. Religion is an infirmity to many, there are many religious people in the world but on the whole few Christians. Being religious does not mean that you are saved. 1Co 9:19-23 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.Have we all become all things to all men as Paul did? Or are we in a world of our own, only seeking those things and people that are like us? How many fellow Christians are suffering today that are in need of prayer and support? Lets read a little, 09/09/2004: GFA Missionaries Held Hostage To Be Killed within 48 Hours! Anti-Christian elements in Bihar have captured, severely beaten and are threatening to kill GFA native missionary Pastor Manrathan and his wife. GFA Bible woman Sarita is also being held hostage.An anti-Christian mob from six villages holds the Gospel workers tied to a sacred tree, demanding 25,000 rupees as a ransom for desecrating their village with the Gospel. If the exorbitant amount is not received within 48 hours, they plan to kill the missionaries. There are no police in the isolated area to intervene. GFA leaders are fervently praying for wisdom on how they can best help the situation.The anti-Christian group spearheading the incident is the same one that burned missionary Graham Staines and his two children alive in Orissa several years ago. In recent years a number of GFA missionaries serving in their native India have been brutally murdered for sharing their faith as well.Pastor Manrathan's village has proven extremely dangerous for Christian workers, yet God has blessed his courage and commitment. They recently planted a church in this remote area of North India. A few weeks ago, Pastor Manrathan held a service where new believers publicly proclaimed their Christian faith. It was a significant time for the congregation. One new believer, a tribal person, renounced his old faith publicly by turning away from everything else to believe in God.This act was brought to the attention of the whole village by his neighbors, who objected to his conversion. In no time, the news of this event spread to six surrounding villages. Soon a large mob descended on the small congregation of new believers and began to beat them. Pastor Manrathan, his wife and Sarita were taken from the church, beaten mercilessly and tied to a tree. No one was allowed to leave the village, to prevent others from hearing of the beatings. Only yesterday, one of the believers escaped with the news.Your urgent prayers for the lives of these missionaries are needed. Pray the Lord will give them strength and that His presence would be real to them during this time of trial and persecution. Pray also for endurance and boldness. 2Co 2:4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you. 2Co 2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ. Jam 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.How can we ignore the other side of Christianity, how can we not have compassion for our brothers and sisters in peril? Prophecy must be fulfilled but that doesn't stop us from giving the Gospel the best we have. Preaching, teaching, witnessing to others with all our hearts. Would you here today, that are lost be able to take the punishment of terrorism and stay faithful to your cause, do you have someone to turn to that would understand and protect you in time of need? Without Jesus you have no one. In the sight of God speak we in Christ. Its past time that we began again to be Christ like, to pray and Fast and be as our Master, to love one another and not being careful for nothing, standing up for the God of all Creation. I say these things out of my love for mankind and Gods Children. Bridges was developed to bridge the gap between Moslems and Americans, or so they say. The Moslem religion is based on Mohamed and not on Christ. They reject Jesus as the Son of God and as a Nation based on Christianity we must reject any form of antichristian influence on our children. Antichristian activities have increased markedly in the past 30 years and will continue to grow until the United States makes an alliance with the Muslim nations against Israel. Zech 14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Not all will believe in Christ but he will judge all. Do people really believe this world will go on forever? If we don't turn to God now, God will turn on us. The Lie; The Muslim creed; Belief in Allah's Lordship, Oneness, and Attributes:· We believe in Allah's divinity; that is he is the Lord, the Creator, the Sovereign, and the Manager of all affairs. · We believe in Allah's god ship; that is, He is the true God and every other so-called deity is false. · We believe in His names and attributes, that is He has the most magnificent names and the sublime perfect attributes. · We believe in His oneness in all of this, that is, He has no associate in His divinity, His God ship, His names, or His attributes.The changing of the Word of God; The Lie; The Muslims believe that Jesus said;

2 Corinthians 2:6-2:14Moslem America part 2. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. Amos 8:11-12. Many are afraid of prophecy and many do not understand it. Prophecy is a vital link between us and God. In part 1, we left off with 5 questions from Christ, they were;1."And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?"2." for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?"3. "what communion hath light with darkness?"4."what concord hath Christ with Belial?"5." what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?" These questions are found in 2 Cor 6, 2 Cor. 2:14 thru. Lets take each and discuss them. 1."And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?"Agreement means;1. Concord; harmony; conformity.2. Union of opinions or sentiments; as, a good agreement subsists among the members of the council.3. Resemblance; conformity; similitude.4. Union of minds in regard to a transfer of interest; bargain; compact; contract; stipulation.1. Ask yourself this question, does the word of God agree with the words of the Muslim creed? No. It cant, if the Holy Bible would be in agreement with the Muslim Quran, then the Bible would be false and we all would be at the mercy of Satan. There is no, Concord; harmony; conformity, Resemblance; nor Union between the Bible and this sect. " for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?" Fellowship;1. Companionship; society; consort; mutual association of persons on equal and friendly terms; familiar intercourse. 2. Association; confederacy; combination. 3. Partnership; joint interest; 4. Company; a state of being together. 5. Communion; intimate familiarity. 1 John 1.3. "what communion hath light with darkness?" Communion;1. Fellowship; intercourse between two persons or more; interchange of transactions, or offices; a state of giving and receiving; agreement; concord. 2. Mutual intercourse or union in religious worship, or in doctrine and discipline.4."what concord hath Christ with Belial?"1. Agreement between persons; union in opinions, sentiments, views or interests; peace; harmony.5." what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?" If you've noticed in the descriptions of each word from these scriptures, God doesn't allow for any doubt about His Word. He doesn't allow anyone to try to misinterpret the scriptures. He wants His people to stay away from the "UNCLEAN THING". We as Christians cannot allow ourselves to become entangled in the world of false religions or become involved in a union of convenience. But this world will become involved, not by agreeing with the world of the Quran but to try to save the physical life of their own people. In doing so they are condemning themselves and their families. Need proof? Lets read a little; Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.Mat 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.Rev 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. Time after time, warning from God to the nations, not to become involved in unrightiousness which is coming from false religion and unholy alliances. If you noticed the listing of majour religions, Christianity and Muslems {Islam} are # 1 & #2.The rest will be swallowed up by Islam. Lets read an article I found today; Thursday, December 22, 2004 The new leader of the ruling Fatah movement said the Palestinians want to replace Israel with a state of their own. Fatah chief Farouk Khaddoumi said the Palestinian strategy toward Israel was two-fold. In the first stage, he said, the Palestinians would accept a Palestinian state alongside Israel. I will repay." I know that things of this nature are hard to deal with, but this is the troubled times that Jesus spoke of. This is a time that we should draw closer to God and his protection. If God be for us, then who can be against us. Our faith in Jesus will sustain us in these times of murder and confusion. Just remember this is only the beginning of sorrows, many who do not make the rapture will have chouses to make as to their faith in Christ. Will they go to slaughter, as a lamb, for the witness of God or will they chose to save their mortal lives by rejecting Him who died for them? Weep and mourn for those that are fallen, pray for those that will fall. Strengthen your resolve in Christ, for we may one day be chosen to be martyred for Christ .
