Set aside.In a heavy skillet saut? onion and garlic in oil until onion is transparent. Add beef an brown thoroughly. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and stir in reserved spinach. Keeping heat high, add eggs to the skillet, stirring constantly until eggs are blended an cooked. Adjust seasonings and serve immediately.

Preacher's Special1/4 cup butter1 green bell pepper, chopped1 medium onion, chopped1 1/2 pounds hamburger4 or more medium potatoes, slicedSalt, as desired1 can cream of asparagus coup1 can cream of chicken soupCheese, gratedPreheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 12 x  9-inch pan with butter.Brown hamburger, onion and green pepper in skillet. Put a layer of raw potatoes in bottom of pan.Top with a layer of meat and pour asparagus soup over this. Add another layer of potatoes, top with meat layer and pour cream of chicken soup over this. Bake for one hour, then top with cheese.

Gebhardt's Casserole3 cups cooked rice1 cup tomato sauce1/2 cup stuffed olives1/2 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon pepper2 teaspoons Gebhardt? Chili Powder1/4 teaspoon ground cumin2 cups chopped cooked meat1 cup meat broth or 1 cup water plus bouillon cube3 or 4 ripe olives,  sliced (optional)1 can refrigerated biscuit dough or homemade equivalentCombine rice, tomato sauce, olives, seasonings, cooked meat and broth. Pour into well-greased 2-quart casserole or baking dish and bake in moderate oven (350 degrees F) for about 30 minutes. Place biscuits on top of casserole dish, return to oven and bake at 400 degrees F until biscuits are done, about 10 minutes. Garnish with sliced olives, if desired.Makes 6 servings.

Arnaud's Trout AmandinePosted by LladyRusty at recipegoldmine.com - May 9, 2001Source: Ladies Home Journal - April 20016 trout fillets with skin (4 to 6 ounces each)1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour12 tablespoons butter, divided (no substitutes)1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice1  1/2 cups sliced almonds, toasted6 lemon wedgesHeat oven to 250 degrees F.Dip each fillet in flour, shaking off excess. Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until bubbly. Add 3 fillets, skin side down, and cook until golden brown and skin is crisp, 2 to 3 minutes. Turn and cook 2 to 3 minutes more, until golden brown. Transfer fillets to a platter; keep warm in oven. Wipe out skillet. Melt 3 tablespoons butter in skillet and repeat cooking remaining fillets.Meanwhile, melt remaining 6 tablespoons butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in lemon juice. Spoon almonds then butter sauce over each fillet. Serve with lemon wedges.Servings: 6

Bandana's Blues BBQ SaucePosted by LladyRusty at recipegoldmine.com - June 4, 2001Source: gatewayno.comThis is the only recipe that I have from Bandana's.Note: A versatile sauce suitable for basting or using at tableside as a dippin' sauce1/2 cup canola oil1/2 cup brown  sugar2 cups Spanish onions, diced2 cups red onions, diced1 bunch scallions, finely diced1 head garlic, peeled, finely chopped6 oranges, peeled, seeded, and chopped (prefer blood oranges)8 fresh plum tomatoes, peeled and pureed (or a one pound can)2 cups tomato sauce1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce (Lea and Perrins preferred)8 ounces tamarind sauce, like Pickapeppa or Blue Marlin3 whole lemons, juiced1/3 cup pepper, mixed freshly ground black and white1 cup cumin, whole, toasted then ground1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper1/3 cup Bandana's Pepper Sauce, Extra Serious    preferred OR your choice2 cups orange juice, fresh squeezedHeat the oil to smoking and add the brown sugar stirring constantly till it starts to thicken. Still stirring, first add all the onions and garlic. Now, turning down the heat, add the oranges and tomato puree and simmer for 8 - 12 minutes Add the tamarind, Worcestershire, and tomato sauces, also the lemon and orange juices, and reduce by 1/4. Add the ground black, white, and cayenne pepper and cook for 10 more minutes over low to medium heat. Now add Bandana's Serious Pepper Sauce of choice. Use right away or chill and use within 2 weeks. Toss cooked lo mein noodles with peanut sauce.Place skewers on top of noodles, garnish with green onions and black sesame seeds.Satay Marinade 1/2 cup fresh jalapenos1/2 cup garlic 1/2 cup ginger, fresh minced 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice 2 1/2 cups soy sauce 1 1/4 cups sesame oil 1 1/2 cups brown sugarMeasure and combine all ingredients in a blender and cover. Blend for 1 minute. Place in appropriate size container. Cover and refrigerate.Peanut Sauce 2/3 cup crunchy peanut butter 1 1/2 cups coconut milk, unsweetened 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated 4 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup chicken stock 1/4 cup heavy cream 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepperCombine peanut butter, coconut milk, lemon juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic and cayenne in a saucepan overt moderate heat. Cook until consistency of heavy cream, stirring frequently. Transfer to a blender and pulse briefly three to four times. Add chicken stock and heavy cream to blend. Blend for 1 minute or until smooth and creamy.

Mix garlic, oregano and two cups of water in blender, add to cooked meat. Soak peppers in hot water for 30 minutes, then puree in a blender with a small amount of water, drain and add to the meat. Add hominy to meat. Reheat to desired serving temperature.Serve in individual bowls with garnishes, bread and tortillas, as desired.

Fold empty chicken breast half flap over the dressed chicken breast half; dust with kosher salt and black and white pepper. Grill to desired temperature.In 2 tablespoons butter, saut? mushrooms and onions until softened. Add Marsala wine and chicken broth; simmer approximately 10 minutes on medium-low heat to reduce.A little at a time, add remaining 2 tablespoon butter until butter melts and mixture emulsifies. Add garlic and saut? for thirty seconds. Then put pesto, tomatoes, olives, artichoke hearts, mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes into the pan. Cook on high heat for three to four minutes. When vegetables are cooked and tender, add spinach, basil and garlic butter. Add seasoning and toss with the vegetables. Cook pasta for seven to ten minutes or until soft. Add pasta to the pan and toss all of the ingredients together. Put into bowl or on a plate and serve.
